This 32-hour Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) New
Supervisor Course (#3737) is specifically tailored for peace officers,
telecommunicators, and jailers embarking on their first supervisory role.
Designed to facilitate a smooth and effective transition from line-level
duties to leadership responsibilities, this course delves into the core
competencies essential for successful supervision within a law
enforcement environment.
Through dynamic instruction and practical application, participants will
explore what it means to define effective leadership, mastering critical skills
in communication and conflict resolution to bridge gaps within their teams.
The curriculum further equips new leaders with performance tools for
